From a whopping 4,678 entries, at least two dozen of them complete A-Z lists and several hundred offering paragraph upon paragraph of useful advice, the entry that stood out as the most original and creative was submitted by Megan Worthy, squeaking in just 8 minutes before the deadline.

After Bronte & Frank's third world experience in the Philippines (where they spent a good deal of time at the CPK down the street - truly) and due to the fact that Bronte is a legitimate bookworm, it made perfect sense to continue giving back to our community, by combining books with California Pizza Kitchen and UPWARD BOUND HOUSE!

Bronte's efforts collecting plushies, and completing two missions to typhoon and earthquake devastated areas, where kids were living in tent cities, earned her a nomination for an International Children's Peace Prize, by a French children's rights org - Droit@l'enfance.

​A special reach out to kids from a kid puts the spotlight on the little victims of big natural disasters.

'A toy is like someone's life to a little child' Bronte said honestly during the video plea she made particularly for Mrs. Painter's 2nd grade class at Beverly Vista Elementary - Beverly Hills.

Bronte's goal was 1,000 soft toys like Frank, but within 5 weeks of collecting globally, Bronte amassed more than 5,200 toys (almost 1,100 from BV alone), hundreds of which she hand delivered to children living in tent cities.
